How to Order:
Welcome
to the Salford City Reds retail website terms and conditions for use.
We
are delighted that you wish to use our website at reds.co.uk (“Site”). However,
we have established a number of terms and conditions that, by using our Site,
you agree to be legally bound by. They are therefore important and so please
take a few moments to read them. If you do not agree with terms &
conditions set out below please do not use the Site.
We
also recommend that you periodically check these terms and conditions, because
we reserve the right to change them at any time and the terms and conditions
that are available on our Site at the time you are using it will be those that
apply during such use.
In
connection with our terms and conditions, where we refer to "Content"
we mean all the text and images contained in, or available from, our Site
All
orders can be placed online through the Website. All orders subject to
availability.
Availability
We do not guarantee that our Site or Content will always be available, nor do
we guarantee that we will provide an error free service. We may suspend our
service for operational reasons such as repair, maintenance or enhancement. In
emergencies, we may change or discontinue the availability of any Content,
goods or services at any time as we see fit.
You
can pay either by VISA, Master Card or Switch. We are unable to accept Solo,
cheques, cash, or postal orders via the website. It is imperative that you
provide the cardholders name as it is shown on the card, and address exactly as
it appears on the card statement. Card fraud is illegal and perpetrators will
be prosecuted in all cases.
Out-of-Stock
If any item you have chosen is unavailable, we aim to contact you
via your e-mail address or via phone within 5 working days.
Returns - Refurbished Products
The terms "mail order returns" or
"reconditioned" are all used to described goods which have been
returned within a short period of purchase.
Products
may be returned for a variety of reasons, however to ensure that you receive
still receive the highest quality product when purchasing such goods, a quality
control check is carried out by ourselves or the manufacturer. All products are
checked against the parts list, any missing or faulty parts are then replaced,
and major scratches/blemished corrected and the products are re-boxed (unless
otherwise stated).
All
products are then subject to a manufacturers warranty and, our very own 10 day
money back guarantee if you are not satisfied. All products that are described
as above are in A1 condition and in full working order.
Pricing Policy
VAT
& The EU
All products on reds.co.uk are priced in pounds sterling and include EU VAT at
the appropriate local rate. Any duties or local taxes are payable by the purchaser
at the appropriate local rate. Orders to individuals in non-EU countries are
tax deductible. Sales to VAT-registered businesses and organisations within the
EU will not be charged VAT provided that VAT registration numbers and business
details accompany every order.
HM Forces:
Deliveries
to BFPO addresses are charged at the standard UK rates and are sent via the
Forces internal mail service at Mill Hill. Individual members of HM Forces
serving in EU countries (excluding The United Kingdom and Northern Ireland)
will be charged VAT on any order unless: goods are for the personal use of the
individual or their dependents, or for individual use on official duties and
goods are delivered to an EU country and every order is accompanied by a
declaration that the individual is a member of HM Forces serving within the EU
and that the above conditions apply.
Variation
: Prices on reds.co.uk may vary on occasions from those found in our
catalogues.
Delivery:
We
will endeavour to despatch goods as promptly as possible. The maximum period of
delivery would be within 30 days, unless specifically agreed with you the
customer. We undertake to inform you of any subsequent change to the delivery
time.
Addresses within the UK :
In
most cases we utilise Business Post for cost effective delivery. All shipping
charges are calculated based on weight and delivery address. This charge is
added to your order before you enter your payment details in the checkout area.
Item availability is listed adjacent to the pictured products.
Please
note that the couriers and delivery services we use tend to deliver during the
working day. You may find it easier to give a work address if it is unlikely
that anyone will be in to sign for your order. For heavy or bulky items we
reserve the right to charge a redelivery fee if the customer is not there to
collect the goods as arranged.
Addresses outside the UK , yet within the EU
Reds.co.uk
utilises Parcel Force for international shipping. Parcel Force Shipping costs
will be calculated online and displayed prior to the final purchase. For more

Free Delivery:
Some
items may appear with a "Free Delivery" icon. Please note this
applies to mainland UK Only
( Scotland , England , Wales ). There can be a charge to Northern Ireland and the Islands ( Isle of Wight
, Isle of Man , Channel Islands , Isle of
Lewis, Orkney etc.. ) depending on the value of the product. Delivery is Free
Monday - Friday.
Standard
delivery is between 9am and 5pm. Saturday deliveries may be

Please
note if access for delivery is restricted please ensure that you inform us
prior to delivery. Failure to do so may result in an additional shipping
charge. Examples include gravel pathway, 2nd floor without a lift.
10 Day Money Back Guarantee:
Sometimes
it may be difficult to purchase a product over the internet, especially when
you can only see a picture and description of a product . To add that extra bit
of comfort we offer the Reds ten day money back guarantee. Its simple. If you
do not like the goods we will arrange to uplift and give a full no quibble
refund. The ten days start from the day the goods are received. The only
stipulation is that we receive the request for a refund in writing preferably
as an email, and that we receive the goods back in the condition they arrived
with you, and that they are repacked into the box/packaging they arrived in. If
returned goods are not repacked properly by the customer they may incur a 10%
repacking/restocking charge. In general few returns are charged this, however
if return goods are in such a condition that costs are incurred to recheck the
product then the 10% may apply . Refunds will be credited back within 30 days
of the cancellation. Please note our carriers only uplift Monday to Friday.
Where
the consumer has exercised the right to cancel, money will be returned within
30 days of cancellation.
If
the goods ordered have been "customised" (for example team kit with
team badges) or are special orders (for example goods that are made to order)
then reds.co.uk reserves the right to charge you for recovery of the goods in
the event of a cancellation. If the goods are faulty and are rejected within 7
working days from receipt of goods to rejection of goods, a full refund plus
postage costs can be claimed.
Returning Items by Mail
1.
Fill out the back of your packing slip as follows:

state the item(s) that you are returning.

to assist processing please state the reason for the return.

indicate whether you would prefer a refund to the credit card originally used,
a cheque, or an exchange*
-
state the preferred delivery address for your exchange or cheque refund.
-if
you are asking for a refund of the delivery expense please include a receipt
for this cost.
*At
present, we can only offer an exchange for the same product.
2.
Package the return securely (in the original package if possible), and include
the packing slip. Packages must be returned pre-paid, and for your protection,
we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service.

Fitness Equipment (and bulky items) delivery / returns:
Due
to nature of these items we will make every effort to contact you to arrange a
convenient delivery time. In some cases normal shipping rates may not apply. If
this is the case individual shipping rates are calculated based on the “ship
to” address. In such cases we will email you the approximate shipping charges
for these items within 3 working days. After receiving the shipping estimate,
the order is shipped only after you approve the shipping quote. Please note
that the purchaser must sign for receipt of the order.

+44 (0) 161 736 6564 (local rate call) Monday - Friday 9:30 - 4:30 . We will fully reimburse agreed
returns made due to faulty goods or an error on our part, but we reserve the
right to charge you for recovery of the goods in the event of a cancellation.

Please
note that fitness equipment must at all times be used only in accordance with
manufacturers instructions and only after thoroughly reading and understanding
those instructions. No one should undertake any form of exercise without first
consulting their doctor or specialist and agreeing with them that it is safe
for them to do so.
Warranty Information
Most
items in the reds.co.uk catalogue have a manufacturers warranty, which is
passed directly to the customer. Reds.co.uk has no control over the terms of
the warranty. If your product is faulty on delivery reds.co.uk will be refund
the purchase, subject to our returns policy..
Complaints
We
aim to deal with all complaints as effectively as possible. In the first
instance, your complaint may be emailed to retail@reds.co.uk,
or mailed to the Reds Retail, The RedZone, Willows Road , Salford ,

, Monday to Friday. All calls will be charged at standard rate.
We
aim to acknowledge by email any emailed or mailed complaint within 5 days, and
to conclude our investigations as soon as possible thereafter. Telephone
complaints will not necessarily be acknowledged by email prior to
investigation. A likely timescale for resolution will be provided upon request,
but this timescale will be dependent upon the specific nature of the complaint.
Data Protection and Privacy:
Any
details which you provide to us from which we can identify you are held and
processed lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
